Gunther Schmidt, a seasoned and innovative serial entrepreneur, serves as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of eKomi. With a strong background in internet marketing, organic search engine optimization, e-commerce, conversion rate analysis, statistical analysis, and affiliate marketing, Schmidt plays a pivotal role in growing strategic partnerships and developing new revenue channels for the company. His expertise and ingenuity have been instrumental in establishing eKomi as an international leader in social commerce technologies.
Schmidt embarked on his professional journey in the banking sector while concurrently exploring entrepreneurial opportunities in SEO and internet marketing. In 2005, he co-founded a successful start-up, capitalizing on his and his business partner's exceptional knowledge of SEO. Subsequently, in 2007, Schmidt established GoMobile Media GmbH. Continuing their fruitful collaboration, Schmidt and his partner launched a second joint venture in early 2008, Medici Internet AG, where Schmidt serves as Managing Director to this day.
In 2012, Schmidt expanded into the real estate industry with the launch of Medici Living, where he now leads the global rollout of the business as CEO. As a recognized and reputable online marketing authority, Schmidt is frequently sought after for his expertise and is a regular spokesperson on matters within the industry.
